The first book to get
A tarot reference for a lifetime.
Introducing the TarotGray devotes one or two pages to every card in the classic Rider-Waite Tarot deck, and lists possible divinatory meanings. She shows how to use various spreads of the cards in order to give readings, and she also discusses the use of the Tarot as an aid in meditation. She also explores the connections between the Tarot and other systems of occult wisdom: numerology, astrology, and the Kabalah.
The book includes a bibliography for those interested in further study. Overall, I found this to be a useful and enjoyable book.

What a BEAUTIFUL story!!!!
A simply magnificent book that will change your life!
THIS BOOK IS AWESOME!

What the Gold/Silver Perfect Guide should have been.
What a great guide! It should have 10 stars!
Truly a Perfect GuideThe guide explains just about everything you need to know about the game. This tells you about the difference between Gold and Silver and Crystal. The walkthrough is very organized and not so many errors are in the guide. The walkthrogh also explains how often Pokemon appear on routes, and tells what pokemon each trainer in each area has. I STILL Say you shouldn't trust what they say about the Pokemon, experiment. Also the guide as a sense of humor as well (good ol' Casey Loe).
Now are you ready for the best part? The Pokedex is the most detailed Pokedex of all time! Better then their Pokemon Gold&Silver guide and the Pokemon Yellow guide! However, the pokedex is like 160 pages long! Thats more than half the guide! So the only negative was I was hoping that they could at least have an Index in the back of the book or something. Also unlike previous guides they actually have an items list!!! That's great.
Overall, I think that for a Pokemon Guide its a bit thick but for effort the guide gets an A
Overall:
Positive
+Beautiful Pokedex
+The best walkthrough in the history of Strategy Guides
+Good sense of humor
+Crytal Clear Screenshots
+Good Tables
Negative
-Guide is a little thick for a Pokemon guide
-An Index needs to be with Pokedex
Other than that this is probbly the best Pokemon guide ever made, better get it before VERSUSB BOOKS sells out!

Extreme CaseIncluded in this book: recipes, before-after photos from her workshop participants, several exercises, and much more. The one unique item I found is the contents for a Survival Kit - a bag packed with healthy food and water that prevented Crystal from stopping at fast food restaurants.
Don't wait for the paperbackCrystal shares her story and reactions to situations and events in life that many, many women share, regardless of race. She reminds me of things I had long forgotten. Books that bring up the pain have the power to change us. Crystal encourages us to take a look at that stuff, even when we're thinking "that was 30 years ago. How can that have anything to do with today?" It can and it does. By sharing her journaling techniques and encouraging us to embrace age-old pain, Crystal leads us to see the root cause of our dependence on food and how to get free forever.
Thanks, Crystal, for having the courage to share and help women who are struggling with this problem everywhere. And thanks for doing it for YOU, not for a man or anyone else.
Best weight loss book to dateBecause Crystal takes us back to her childhood to her first memories of binge eating and everything that happened after the incident with her grandfather in California, we got an honest, inside view of how someone can reach 292 lbs. It is amazing what one can accomplish if they look inside of themselves to heal their spirit to get rid of what is ailing them.
Not only was the book touching, it was also humourous and just overall a very personable book. I feel like I know her.
Thank you Ms. Phillips for sharing your experiences with us to help others get out of the rut they may have gotten themselves into because they didn't have the courage to look inside and get to the heart of their problems!! What an inspiration!!

Great books

A very exiting book
A wonderful, but haunting tale
Caught in CrystalKayl herself was a member of the Sisterhood of Stars until she got so mad at the politics that she left. Before she left was part of a group that preformed a dangerous mission to find out what was stored in the Twisted Tower. Only half of the group survived. This member of the Sisterhood of Stars is asking her to go back.
At the same time a friend of her husband (both husband and friend went to the Twisted Tower and survived) is telling her that terrible things will happen if she goes back. This friend is a Wizard and he can see the future, but he is not an average seer. This 'gift' is more like a curse to him, and has been happening ever since his trip to the Twisted Tower.
This is the story of Kayl's choice, and the repercussions of that choice. It tells how Kayl realizes that she must face her past and can't just hope it will go away. This book was told in a wonderful style that is characteristic of Patricia C. Wrede's work. It certainly kept me interested.

Why's Tintin so unique in the world of comic books ?What sets Tintin apart from all the rest, I feel, the brilliant quality of the artwork. The level of detail, right from the wheels of flight 714 about to land on that tiny island (flight 714), to the shadow effects of walking in a hidden passage to the Inca empire (prisoners of the sun), to the shape of the waves on which Tintin in a coffin is floating (cigars of the pharaoh), or the jaguar in which Tintin chases the gangsters (the calculus affair), the details are just fantastic and the right amount, without creating too much noise and distraction - as is the case with many of the DC comics - iron man, the incredible hulk, etc.
The stories range from contemporary to looking ahead in the future - swing wing planes, rockets to the moon, hidden cameras/espionage. The subject matter is political, and in my opinion slightly controversial at times. Especially the way Herge stereotypes native people in India (Cigars of the Pharaoh, Tintin in Tibet), or in the jungles of Amazon (The Broken Ear). But even here, Herge is way above the shady and simplistic plots of the like of Phantom and Flash Gordon.
The collection is more readable towards the later comics, some of the earlier ones contains situations which are too improbable and rely far too much on luck for Tintin to get himself out of danger.
Great
Great Books!

61*The photgraphy is phenomenal and the text --smooth,easy to read and very informative. I loved this book so much I ordered for my sister for Christmas. I have no doubt she will enjoy as much as I did. Everything in the 6l season for the Yankees was amazing, Mantle, Maris, Ford, the unbelievable infeild--this book covers it ALL to perfection. i must read for aging Yankee fans.
If you loved the movie...Most of the book is full of pictures and narratives about the great 1961 season when Mantle and Maris were chasing the Babe's home run record. (Aside, Maris' 61 home runs, which stood for 37 years, is now only 7th best all time?). There are lots of pics of the real Mantle and Maris as well as a discussion of the movie. And of course, there is the postscript of M and M after their Yankee careers ended. And sadly for both, very early and untimely deaths.
M and M were the talk of baseball and New York in 1961. Forty years later as we watch their descendants try to bring New York together with another World Series crown we can remember the innocence the joy and heartbreak of 61 and we can thank Billy Crystal for helping us to relive the innocence that was our youth.
Jasonfor their team. It was more for the sport and not the money!
Great book!
